Soccer Recap: Gunn Comes Up Short

Gunn lost against Palo Alto back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gunn Titans fell 2-0 to the Palo Alto Vikings. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly two goals.

Gunn has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-2 record this season. As for Palo Alto, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-3.

Coming up, Gunn will square off against Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Palo Alto, they will take on Santa Clara at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Santa Clara's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
