Basketball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Comes Up Short

Carver High School of Engineering & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Imhotep Charter Panthers 67-22. While losing is never fun, Carver High School of Engineering & Science can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Imhotep Charter is ranked 51st).

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabella Brown, who posted 11 points. That was a full 50% of Carver High School of Engineering & Science's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Desiray Zepp was another key player, putting up seven points.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Imhotep Charter, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.
