Basketball Recap: Chichester Takes a Loss

Chichester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Chester Clippers and fell 67-26. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-19 on January 7th.

Chester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Imani Dorsey, who went 6 for 10 en route to 16 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Dorsey is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ja?Mya Muhammad was another key player, going 7 of 12 on her way to 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Chichester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Chester, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Chichester won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Delaware County Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Delaware County Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Chichester surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chester, they will take on Strath Haven at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
