Softball Recap: Iberia Comes Up Short

If Iberia was riding high fresh off their 12-4 takedown of Vienna last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rolla Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kya Yoakum was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhylee Graves, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Iberia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Rolla, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

As of now, neither Iberia nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
