Softball Recap: South Cobb Comes Up Short

South Cobb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-6 to the McEachern Indians. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

South Cobb got a big performance out of Jada Emenalo, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Kennedi Williams was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

South Cobb's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for McEachern, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. South Cobb is set to challenge their familiar foe Paulding County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McEachern will square off against rival Hillgrove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
