Volleyball Recap: Shady Spring Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Greenbrier East

Shady Spring faced Greenbrier East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Alivia Stover paced Shady Spring's offense, picking up 14 kills. Stover got some help from Reagan Mann and her 19 assists. Mann was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
