Baseball Recap: Ware County Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Ware County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Walnut Grove Warriors 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Gators: when they faced off against the Warriors on Wednesday, they had to take a 6-1 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for Ware County and bumps their season record up to 19-11. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Walnut Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 20-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Ware County by a score of 6-1 later that day.
