Soccer Recap: Starr's Mill Takes a Loss

Starr's Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carrollton Trojans.

Starr's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carrollton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Starr's Mill will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northgate at 8:00 p.m. on February 25th. Carrollton will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Hillgrove at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th.
