Soccer Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wheeler County two weeks ago, Montgomery County came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Dooly County Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Montgomery County seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Montgomery County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dooly County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Coincidentally, Montgomery County and Dooly County will both be playing Hawkinsville the next time they take the pitch. The Eagles will host the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
