Softball Recap: Palmer Terrors vs. Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans
Palmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans. If the Terrors were looking for revenge after losing 22-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Camila Vazquez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmer will host Widefield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Terrors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gladiators have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season.
