It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Decatur ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dunwoody Wildcats, sneaking past 9-8. The victory was just business as usual for the Bulldogs, who after six games remain undefeated this season.

Decatur's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dunwoody, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Decatur is set to square off against their familiar foe Chamblee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Decatur 2.5, Chamblee 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Dunwoody will take on rival Arabia Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
