Baseball Game Preview: McEachern Indians vs. Osborne Cardinals

For the second straight game, McEachern will face off against Osborne. McEachern will welcome Osborne at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. McEachern will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Last Friday, McEachern made easy work of Osborne and carried off a 12-2 victory. Considering the Indians have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

JC Crenshaw looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, McEachern got a massive performance out of Jordan Stokes, who went 1-for-5 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Stokes a new career-high. Malachi Butler was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.

McEachern's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Osborne, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. McEachern has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Osborne struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
