Preview: Central Bucks East Patriots vs. Abington Galloping Ghosts
The Central Bucks East Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Abington Galloping Ghosts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Central Bucks East beat Pennsbury 43-39.
Meanwhile, Abington waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins but they left with six. They strolled past George School with points to spare, taking the game 64-49. Given Abington's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while George School is ranked 155th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Central Bucks East has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Abington, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
