Soccer Recap: Forest Park Comes Up Short

Forest Park fought the good fight in their overtime match against Midtown on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Midtown Knights by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Marvin Nandi, who's now up to five this season.

Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Midtown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Park will head out to challenge Mays at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midtown, they will take on Jackson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
