It's playoff time, and La Canada had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Aliso Niguel Wolverines with a sharp 49-29 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Leading La Canada to victory were Jennifer Musso and Malia Harney. Musso went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points and five rebounds, while Harney went 6-for-13 on her way to 14 points. What's more, Musso also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024.

La Canada's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points over those games. As for Aliso Niguel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-15.

Coming up, La Canada will take on Rosary Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. La Canada is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season. Aliso Niguel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
