Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berkmar). They put the hurt on the Lanier Longhorns with a sharp 8-4 win on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Berkmar have won by exactly four goals.

Their offense was hitting Lanier from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Frankmauro Ferreras led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Berkmar's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Lanier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10-1.

Coming up, Berkmar will square off against Cedar Grove at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berkmar will be up against Cedar Grove's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.7 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lanier, they will take on South Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lanier's defense better be ready for this one: South Gwinnett have averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season.
