Baseball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central fell victim to Strasburg-Franklin and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Crusaders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Catholic Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Catholic Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they will face off against New Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
