Football Recap: Conway Springs Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Conway Springs can now relate to. They and the Inman Inman Teutons were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but they suffered a 14-13 defeat. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Inman Teutons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Conway Springs lost, don't look at Logan Osner. Despite the final result, he rushed for 250 yards. Osner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 175 rushing yards.

Conway Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Inman, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Conway Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Inman, they will take on Moundridge on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so the Inman Teutons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
