Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Bulloch). Everything went their way against the Beach Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Ryan Cammack was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Rhett Morgan was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Southeast Bulloch is undefeated when Morgan posts two or more runs, but 9-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cade Harnage, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Southeast Bulloch hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive contests.
