Basketball Game Preview: Juniata Christian vs. Columbia County Christian

Juniata Christian will venture away from home to square off against Columbia County Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Juniata Christian hasn't scored more than 12 points for five games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Last Tuesday, Juniata Christian was beaten by Belleville Mennonite 43-11.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Columbia County Christian against Walnut Street Christian on Tuesday as the squad secured a 49-8 win. Columbia County Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 26 points or more this season.

Juniata Christian better keep an eye on Ashleigh Boudman. She was instrumental in Columbia County Christian's win, putting up 22 points. Boudman's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lily DuMond, who posted ten points.

Columbia County Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.3 points. As for Juniata Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
