Derby extended their postseason success on Friday against Northwest. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 63-21 victory over the Grizzlies. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

When it comes to explaining why Northwest lost, don't look at Augie Fast. Despite the final result, he rushed for 123 yards and one TD, and also picked up 89 receiving yards and one score. Jaylen Mason was another key player, throwing for 294 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Derby's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Northwest, they moved to 9-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Derby will square off against Manhattan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
