Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln and Twelve Bridges squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lincoln had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Zebras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Raging Rhinos are ranked 28th).

Alicia Osegueda wasn't going to let Twelve Bridges walk away unscathed as she scored both of Lincoln's goals, bringing her season total up to 70 goals.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Twelve Bridges, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor Twelve Bridges have any future games scheduled.
