Softball Recap: Community Takes a Loss

If Community was riding high fresh off their 25-2 takedown of Pilot Grove on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Silex Owls by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Community's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Silex, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Community will venture away from home to take on Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Silex, they will host Mark Twain at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
