Soccer Recap: Rosemont Has No Trouble Against Amador

Rosemont's and Amador's contest on Wednesday was close at halftime, but Rosemont turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. Everything went the Rosemont Wolverines' way against the Amador Buffaloes as the Rosemont Wolverines made off with a 4-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in December of 2024.

Rosemont hit Amador with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jalaya Cozart (2), Taaliyah Brown, and Ellona Ivanina.

Rosemont has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Amador, they dropped their record down to 1-11-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Rosemont didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Union Mine on the 31st. As for Amador, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Galt on the 31st.
