Softball Recap: Bethany Beats Kingfisher for Their Fifth Straight Victory

While Bethany put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Kingfisher. The Bronchos walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Yellowjackets. The win was familiar territory for the Bronchos, who have now won five contests in a row.

The result came thanks to Paige Sechrist's shutout, as she gave up just three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jules Barger, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Ella Davis was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Bethany hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive matchups.

Bethany's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Kingfisher, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season.

Bethany wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Elk City on the 25th. Kingfisher does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
