Softball Recap: Peak to Peak Takes a Loss

Peak to Peak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the Westminster Wolves. If the Pumas were looking for revenge after losing 12-4 to the Wolves when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Haley Haskins and Evelyn Kraft did some serious damage despite the final result: Haskins went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Kraft went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Krumm, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Peak to Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Westminster, their record now sits at 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peak to Peak will head out to square off against Centaurus at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pumas will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Westminster, they are taking a road trip to take on Brighton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
