Lanier Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lightning also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Tres Criste was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched.
