Marion County strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Miller County Pirates. Five seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Lindsay Bagley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Bagley was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
