Baseball Recap: Rockport Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Rockport's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Georgetown Royals on Saturday. The Vikings have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Rockport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Georgetown, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockport will host Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Georgetown, they will welcome Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
