Soccer Recap: Anderson Has No Trouble Against Central Valley

Anderson kept a clean sheet against Central Valley on Thursday. They blew past the Central Valley Falcons 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cubs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Central Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emelia Jones, Sydney Clemons, and Taylor Dormer.

Anderson's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-9-1. As for Central Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Anderson will face off against Yreka at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Valley, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Central Valley challenge the West Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
