Center has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 8-0 to the Oakmont Vikings on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1040th, while the Vikings are ranked 353rd).

Center's record is now 0-7-1. As for Oakmont, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center will host Colfax at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colfax will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Center surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oakmont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bear River at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakmont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.4 goals per game this season.
