Peachtree Ridge posted their closest victory since August 16th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Norcross Blue Devils. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Peachtree Ridge's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Norcross, they dropped their record down to 6-20 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Peachtree Ridge will welcome Lanier at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Norcross, they will head out to challenge Duluth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.81 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
