Soccer Recap: Miller Grove Takes a Loss

Miller Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Atlanta Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Monday.

Miller Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Atlanta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Miller Grove will welcome Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Atlanta, they will head out on the road to square off against Redan at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. South Atlanta will be up against Redan's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
