Softball Recap: Central Lyon Takes a Loss

Central Lyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lions have suffered since June 6th.

Central Lyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Central Lyon has already played their next matchup, a 15-7 win against Harris-Lake Park on the 28th. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-4 defeat against South O'Brien on the 30th.
