Basketball Recap: South Iredell Vikings vs. East Rowan Mustangs
South Iredell won the last time they faced East Rowan and things went their way on Friday too. The South Iredell Vikings walked away with a 60-47 win over the East Rowan Mustangs. That 13 point margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

South Iredell was led to victory by Kobe Richardson and Zy'Mir Clark. Richardson went 8 of 16 on his way to 21 points and eight rebounds, while Clark posted ten points in addition to five assists and three steals. That's the most points Richardson has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrin Mann, who had eight points and nine rebounds.

After both having extra time off, East Rowan and South Rowan will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. East Rowan is facing South Rowan at the right time seeing as South Rowan is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
