Soccer Recap: Kearny Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Kearny after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the High Tech SD Storm by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Komets in their matchups with the Storm: they've now lost seven in a row.

Kearny's record is now 4-7-2. As for High Tech SD, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kearny will head out to take on Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for High Tech SD, they are taking a road trip to square off against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
