While Cartersville put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Dalton. The Hurricanes put the hurt on the Catamounts with a sharp 13-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Presley Crabbe looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Zoie Shiflett was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsey Woodard, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Cartersville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
