Baseball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Comes Up Short

St. Anne-Pacelli and Bulloch Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but St. Anne-Pacelli had to settle for second. They came up short against the Gators, falling 13-5.

Connor Zittrauer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. He has become a key player for St. Anne-Pacelli: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 11-17 otherwise. Braden Hudson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

St. Anne-Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Bulloch Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-7.

While St. Anne-Pacelli had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
