Softball Recap: Brooks County Trojans vs. Echols County Wildcats

Brooks County had lost five straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped down to 2-15 to make it six. They came up short against the Echols County Wildcats, falling 18-12. Even if the Trojans couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Zoey White was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
