Preview: Rockwood Rockets vs. Shade Panthers
Rockwood is 2-8 against Shade since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rockwood Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Shade Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Shade took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rockwood, who comes in off a win.
Rockwood scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 71-49 margin over North Star. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Rockwood has managed all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Shade, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 61-25 loss at the hands of Blacklick Valley. Shade was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-14.
Rockwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Shade, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Rockwood beat Shade 46-37 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Will Rockwood repeat their success, or does Shade have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
