Soccer Game Preview: Santa Rosa Academy vs. San Jacinto Leadership Academy

The Santa Rosa Academy Rangers will take on the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Santa Rosa Academy comes in on eight and San Jacinto Leadership Academy on six.

If Santa Rosa Academy beats San Jacinto Leadership Academy with two goals on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Santa Rosa Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over California Military Institute on Monday.

Hannah Dominquez and Kyany Tran scored both of Santa Rosa Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, San Jacinto Leadership Academy kept a clean sheet against Hamilton on Monday. They blew past the Bobcats 5-0. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Santa Rosa Academy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those ten contests. As for San Jacinto Leadership Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-4-1.
