Soccer Recap: Lowndes Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Lowndes was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Richmond Hill Wildcats, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Vikings were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Harris Sumner, which was the first he's scored this season.

Lowndes' loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Richmond Hill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Lowndes didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 defeat against Pierce County on the 11th. As for Richmond Hill, they have also already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Hilton Head Prep on the 11th.
