Freedom's and Antioch's game on Friday was close at halftime, but Freedom turned on the heat in the second half with 42 points. The Freedom Falcons blew past the Antioch Panthers 65-39. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Freedom's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eve Monzon led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine assists. Monzon is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addyson Ray, who went 7 of 16 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds.

Freedom smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Freedom pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Antioch, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Freedom has already played their next game, a 54-39 victory against Heritage on the 28th. As for Antioch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 47-27 win against Liberty on the 28th.
