Softball Recap: Peach County Takes a Loss

Peach County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 12-8 to the Clinch County Panthers.

Peach County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yumi Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Thomas' first of the season.

Peach County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Clinch County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peach County will venture away from home to take on Dougherty at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinch County, they will take on Charlton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
