Soccer Recap: Benedictine Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Benedictine, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ware County Gators on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 back in February.

Michael Groover and Asher Herrin scored both of Benedictine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Benedictine's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Ware County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Benedictine will head out on the road to square off against New Hampstead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ware County, they will host Wayne County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wayne County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ware County surely won't give up without a fight.
