Baseball Game Preview: Crawford County Eagles vs. Chattahoochee County Panthers

The Crawford County Eagles will face off against the Chattahoochee County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Crawford County's offense. They fell 4-0 to Mary Persons on Wednesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Chattahoochee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Crawford County, falling 13-2.

Khalib Fleming made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Connor Doherty also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Chattahoochee County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Crawford County, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
