Softball Recap: Starmont Drops Season-High Score on Waukon

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Starmont). They never let the Waukon Indians get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Stars needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Starmont's win ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-17. As for Waukon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Starmont will face off against Edgewood-Colesburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waukon, they will challenge New Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
