Soccer Recap: Sequoia Takes a Loss

Sequoia's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burlingame Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in January.

Sequoia has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-2 record this season. As for Burlingame, their record is now 5-7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sequoia will venture away from home to face off against Hillsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sequoia is facing Hillsdale at the right time seeing as Hillsdale is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Burlingame has already played their next contest (against Menlo-Atherton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
