Softball Recap: Whitesboro Finds Home Field Redemption Against Tupelo

There's no place like home for Whitesboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They skirted past the Tupelo Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since September 26, 2024.

Whitesboro's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Tupelo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitesboro will head out to take on Arkoma at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tupelo, they will venture away from home to challenge Vanoss at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
