Nelson Island waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eek Cougars. The Islanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Nelson Island never let Eek on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-6.

Nelson Island's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Nelson Island has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Akiuk Memorial on the 17th. Eek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
